Rishida Rebellion by ~Leon2021:iconLeon2021:

The Rishida Rebellion

Year R.E. 213, during the Rule of the Empire
In the country of Injamin, the Crown and its nobles treated commoners no better than dirt. In their minds they were destined by blood to be wiser, mightier, and held more power than the commoners. Thus, deaths and persecution was everywhere. The commoners had enough of this, and uprising spouted like wildfire throughout the country. My tale is that of the final uprising, The Rebellion at Rishida. Here, a young commoner led a small party to capture the Validus Palace while many larger groups attacked guard’s checkpoints and barracks.

A massive explosion sent shrapnel, dirt, and people near enough flying through the air. Everything blurred in his vision and muted in his ears as a young man staggered to get to his feet.
A young woman’s face filled his view as she tried to help him. She was trying to talk to him, but his head was still dazed and he only heard pieces, “…ja…Ran…must…hurr…for…,” Then someone had thrown water on his face and he came out of his shock. “Ranja. Quickly, we must go!” The young woman asked.
Ranja noticed his arm had a shallow cut. “Atilea, I need your blessings.” He pointed to his arm and Atilea quickly placed her hand on the wound. She whispered a chant in a strange language. Green light pooled from her hands onto the wound. The cut quickly healed itself in just seconds, and not even a scar remained.
Ranja nodded and asked, “What of the others?” A girl and man came sprinting to their location. The girl had a cut on her face, probably from a sword, and the man had gashes on his body but looked as if they were nothing. Atilea quickly healed these wounds as well.
“You should’ve seen what Cigam did!” The girl said energetically “He used his Trickery magic to make the soldiers run for the gate. Then the gate just blew up! Cigam said that he had nothing to do with the explosion but I don’t believe him.” The girl then made an annoyed face and glared at Cigam.
“Can’t you put more trust in him, Feyu? The explosion was my doing; I had the gate covered in Noitcaep. You remember what that was right? It is near invisible when applied, but it’s very powerful.” Ranja scolded. Feyu just pouted and glared.
“Um, that’s four. We’re missing two.” Atilea said. As she finished her sentence, a man dropped down from the roof of the building they stood near.
“I make five.” The man said. His black hair reached his chin, and he had many cuts as well.
“Welcome, Ikamazu. I see you are alive and well. We have been waiting for ages! What slowed you?” Ranja asked.
“Some bastards wanted to roughhouse. So I took some time to show them how to behave.” Ikamazu replied.
“Alright and that leaves-” A girl came running as fast as she could and slammed into Cigam as he was cut off.
“Ah, oh, Cigam. How’s it goin’? The girl said. She was the only one that had no injuries. How was that possible? Ranja thought Atani is a very timid girl, and yet she’s the only one that shows up unscathed.
“Oh, Ranja. Um, I have this, for you.” From one of her small pouches on her clothes she produced a small sphere. It was a deep, bluish stone. “This is a Caidoz stone. It’s why the Empire was after me. The Overlord probaly has one, too. This will help you defeat him.
“So this small thing is what you’ve been hiding from us?” Leon remarked as he took the stone. “I think you gave us too many heart attacks over this.” He softly hit Atani on her head. “So now that we’re all here, shouldn’t we go already? I’m getting bored, leaving all the fighting to the rest of the rebels.”

Running through alleys, climbing rooftops, and being as stealthy as possible at their speed, they quickly made their way towards Validus Palace. They reached a small warehouse near the Palace within half an hour.
“Quickly, you know the plan.” Ranja whispered. Silently, Ikamazu and Ranja dashed inside. They reached a bare shelf and pushed it aside, revealing a bare wall. Looking at it closely, it was a lighter shade than the rest of the wall. Now Cigam revealed a small bag from his pack. He threw its contents onto the door, a shining blue powder. Now the wall plaster dissolved into air, uncovering an iron door.
“This is it,” Leon said, “No turning back now.”

Nice creative names. I noticed that some are backwards for real words such as "Cigam" is "Magic" backwards. I'm hoping to read more of your story! Especially when chapter 1 comes out! :D
